This 1985 Factory Joker Westfalia was brought in for a full nut-and-bolt rotisserie restoration in June of 2024. It received the following:
Major structural repair to the chassis.
Installation of a total of over thirty-two New Old Stock replacement panels from Volkswagen. All sourced directly out of Germany and the UK.
Entire underside of the vehicle was cleaned, stripped, epoxy primed, and sprayed in Raptor Liner Black 2K.
Full Lizard Skin Spray on Sound and Heat Insulation treatment.
All chassis hardware replaced with brand new Class 10.9 hardware, finished in yellow zinc chromate. Refinished hardware used where needed.
Grade 304 stainless steel brake hard line, nuts, and flexible lines.
Complete suspension overhaul: Polyurethane bushings installed throughout, Fox 2.0 Shocks, Schwenk Springs, T3 Technique Upper and Lower ball joints, new wheel bearings, new wheel mounting hardware. All suspension was media blasted and painted in Steel-It Polyurathane Topcoat.
Custom Quentin’s Garage 25mm extended trailing arms. Painted in Steel-it Black. Complete with Powerflex Polyurethane Bushings, Stainless Steel brake hard lines, and new E-brake cables.
